GMG in particular and the United States of America in general.
Jeremy Staat, A Marine Veteran, running for Congress in California, has chosen to attached his name to Colin Kaepernick for instance recognition.
Mr. Kaepernick is an American Citizen, who felt compelled to take a stand for what he believes. Below is a letter from all branches of America’s Military, supporting Mr. Kaepernick’s right to protest. MMr.Staat, if you don’t stand for something, you will lay down with ANYTHING & ANYONE!!!
Mr. Jeremy Staat, Grandmothers, Mother’s and Women of America’s (GMW), is no longer, going to be using our power, (vote, dollars, God and love) to continue supporting candidates who comes out the political gate being divisive.
The race and victim issue, is a problem in this country, it’s only going to not, always be the elephant in the room, if we have honest dialogue about what and who this country was built on; “with the Serenity, to except the things we can’t change, and the wisdom and courage to change the things we can.â€
GMW; we are going to be the United States of America again. In the name of Jesus, we pray.
Grandmothers, mothers and women (GMW), Abuse of teachers by parents and pupils is on the rise, says a survey by The Guardian 10 years ago, that reflects today’s conditions in our schools, it’s a global problem. The Research on abuse comes after head of teachers’ union launches devastating attack on parents, accusing many of failing their children and undermining schools.
The research found that more than 39% of teachers have been confronted by an aggressive parent or guardian, and nearly a quarter of the teachers have endured physical violence from students. The research also found, many students come to school, I’ll-prepared by their parents, with a lack of respect for authority and liking basic social and verbal skills.
Recently a teacher in Maryland was arrested for having to fight a student in her class. Allegedly, the student was angry about a text the teacher sent to her parent or guardian the night before. Allegedly she followed the teacher around in her class the next day, Insisting on an answer, regarding the text. The student allegedly stepped on the teachers foot and bumped into her. That was when the fight started between teacher and student.
Grandmothers, mothers and women (Gmw), I have the the utmost praise and respect for teachers, (I could not do their jobs, I would be in jai. Our laws have tied the hands of parents and teachers, while freeing the hands of children) their jobs are just as important as parenting. We are the 2 greatest Influences in our children’s lives. I love my children unconditionally and would give my life, in a heart-beat for them. But, when raising them, they knew,†if they called the police on me, They had better call an ambulance, because when I’m going off to jail, they will be on their way to the hospital.†I never went to jail, and they never went to jail or hospital. Where some of us fail as parents, we blame the teachers for our children’s, lack of respect for authority, and basic social and verbal skills. Teachers are least respected by many parents, students and society. They are under-paid-overworked and asked to Perform miracles: Many of us send our children off to school for teachers to raise, teach discipline, be-well-rounded and prepared to pass the Sol, with high scores.
GMW, we must find common ground solution, which starts at home. We may have to start a national movement called: “ preparing our babies to respect authority (especially in schools) basic social skills (good manners are already taught) and verbal skills, (able to express themselves with confidence); It’s work, but it’s worth our efforts. Teaching is a caring, altruistic profession. They are teaching because it’s their passion. Not only are our children fighting with teachers, they are fighting each other. schools are aware of the underlying issues that may be driving violent or abusive behavior, but they can’t solve that problem alone. That’s why, parent teacher relationships are so important. Communication breeds understanding, children practice more of what they see, than what they hear.
I attended a forum at one of our local high schools recently, regarding violence among students, and the results were astounding. The forum was well attended my students, staff and concerns community persons. A commonality among almost 80 percent of the student was having experience the violence of Guns, drugs and suicide, by members of family and friends. So many of our children are exposed to these conditions on a daily basis with little or no counseling, in coping with these violent behaviors. These are our children, we must find the solution. If we don’t, who will?
GMW as always, we ask God, our Creator and Maker of the universe to guide and direct us; In the name of Jesus.
I personally know teachers who Are no longer allowed to teach, because they defended themselves against a student.
GMW, in Virginia let’s commit to the Lord whatever we do , and our plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3. We have 63 days to take control of the Virginia General Assembly.
We all know, ‘In order to travel around the world, you have to make the first step. In Virginia, for the next 63 days the spotlight is on us. We must bring commonsense, compassion and integrity back to LEADERSHIP in Government.
VA. was able to bring the Affordable Healthcare Act To its citizens after our last election, where the Democrats had a larger voice. Now we need to get control of our General Assembly in order to bring about sensible gun laws. The last time serious efforts was attempted, the Majority GOP adjourn the meetings and went home.
Grandmothers, Mothers and Women we must start here in Virginia, being the changes we want to see in our country.
GMW and democrats of Virginia, there are (4) un-incumbent seats in the House of Delegates, which will give us a majority they are:
The Senate has (4) that are Battle Ground seats, held by the GOP, that Hillary won 2016 and Ralph won in 2017 and they are:
1. Cheryl Turpin Dist. 7
2. Ghazala Hashmi Dist. 10
3. Debra Rodman Dist. 12
4. John Bell Dist. 13
GMW of Virginia, we asked our sisters who were willing to run for a seat at the Political Decisions making Table, and we would support them, well, they took us at our word, of the 8 seats we need to turn the General Assembly Blue, 50 are percent women. Now we must deliver. “ PUT OUR POWER WHERE OUR MOUTH IS.â€
Our 4 Power Tools are Our: Vote, Dollars, God and Love â¤ï¸. In The name of Jesus we go forth.
Our country is starting to look like Ancient Bethlehem, when Herod was king:
A voice is heard in Raman, weeping and great morning, Rachel weeping for her children. Matthew 2:17
America we are better than this. If this is the level we must stoop to, to make America great again, whose interpretation of Great are we going to profile? Our Founding Fathers or Our Current Leaders In Washington.
GMW is pointing a finger at the: The 3 branches responsible for governing our country. 1. Oval Office, 2. The House and 3. The Senate. When one looks bad, all 3, (STINKS) looks bad.
It’s not so much what you do, it’s how you do it. When a 2 year-Old is left to his or her own vices, Chaos is the result.
Virginia, it’s imperative, Our three Branches of governing has to turn BLUE!!
We must show The rest of the country, and the world ?, what governing with Commonsense and compassion looks like.
We are witnessing daily what Alternative Truth and Anarchy looks like. DC., You are better than this.
As for me personally, my country has made me, “sick ?to my stomach, with a loss of appetite, So!!
America! Let’s pray for our Country in the Name Of Jesus.
The Democratic Legislative Campaign
Committee, wants us to know what at stake:
Health care access. Reproductive freedoms. Voting rights.
Tackling climate change. And not just for the next legislative term – with
redistricting right around the corner, we’re talking about a decade of policy. All of which will be written by the
GOP if we don’t win this fall.
They’ve refused to act on gun violence – even ending a
special session of the legislature after just 90 minutes.
They tried to stop 400,000 Virginians from gaining access to
affordable health care through the expansion of Medicaid. And the list goes on.
W and democrats of Virginia, these
four (4) seats in the House of Representative will give us a majority they are:
GMW of Virginia
we asked our sisters who were willing to run for a seat at the Political
Decisions making Table, and we would support them, well, they took us at our
word, of the 8 seats we need to turn the General Assembly Blue, 50 are percent women. Now we must deliver, and, PUT OUR POWER WHERE
OUR MOUTH IS.
America needs Bipartisan Leadership, and more GMW in those positions, at the table.
GMW, saving our children and creating a world that’s conducive to their environment is a Momentous Task. We can and must accomplish it. But first, we have to learn to walk in each other’s shoes for a while and have serious dialogue; while dissecting our past with understanding and forgiveness. Then we’ll be able to create a world that values our future; “Our Children.”
It’s imperative that we have legislation that applies equally to all of our children. I firmly believe that the worst legislation ever enacted, was the law charging children before they’re 18 as adults. I’m also sure those persons proposing those laws had never been parents or spent quality time around children from birth to 17;  they would know without a doubt that parents are still struggling to lead that age group. That group has no power of consent, the laws states they must have parental consent to go on a school trip. But, they can be tried as adults for the crimes they may commit as children while still under the Legal Tutelage or parents.
I think the sexual allegation that are coming from the SWAMP, is just the tip of the Ice Berg. It’s a cleansing of those offices. It’s also documented that between 1997 and 2017 congress paid 17.2 million in settlements. Lawmakers and staffers on Capitol Hill agrees, sexual harassment is rampant. Roy Moore should be making an exit from politics. The fact that he was barred from Mall while serving as Asst. District Attorney at age 32, to protect young girls in the mall from him, speaks for itself.  Our president is indorsing Mr. Moore, while he still has allegations against him for allegedly  raping a 13 year old in 1994 along with registered-convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. GMW, we know right from wrong and we have work to do.
Children In Adult Jails: Â Treating young offenders like grown-ups makes little sense. Â
GMW: While our leaders in Washington are putting on a Circus for the world at ours and our children’s expense, we have some pressing issues that must be address in 2018 before November 6th.
The 1st issue of importance is Prison Reforms: Children in adult jails
We will start with Prison Reform: Looking at 2 cases for example. 15 years old Nicholas Blount, tried as an adult; pleaded innocent went to trial. 16 years old, Kiaun R. Bray, tried as an adult and plea bargained.
GMW its time we put a price tag on our Dollars and Votes in 2018, for the sake of our children. If candidates wants our votes, they have to address our issues. We would like to coalition  with the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and The Children’s Defense Fund; organizations doing exceptional work in prison Reform.
People of color we must become more proactive in making sure we’re in Jury selection Pools, I think the jurors should reflect the landscape. I’m a little tired of seeing all white faces dispensing justice and everyone else in the courtroom receiving the results, is of color.
According to the Wall Street Journal a few years ago. The House Judiciary Committee introduced five bills in a bipartisan effort to reform America’s criminal-justice system.  With incarceration rates in the U.S. five to 10 times higher than in Western Europe and other democracies, the bills aim was to provide sensible reforms such as rewriting mandatory-sentencing statutes. Yet none directly addresses plea bargaining, a practice that induces too many defendants to plead guilty to avoid what has come to be known as the trial penalty.
The practice of charging young people as adults gained momentum in America in the 1990s, as youth crime spiked and adults attention was weaning from their children to social media.
Consider the case of Nicholas Blount, who was 15 when he robbed a party with (2) 18 year old gang members. Â His older accomplice plea bargained and got much lighter sentence of 10 to 13 years.
Blount felt he was innocent of some charges, and opted for trial hoping for justice. He got 6 life sentences plus 118 years.
Travion Blount was serving one of the harshest punishments delivered to any American teenager for a crime not involving murder. Governor McDonnell shortened his time to 40 years before he left office; and thank God Terry McAuliffe, pardon him before leaving office.
Now look at the case of Kjaun Rahmein Bray. He was 16 August, 2000 when the offense occurred, his accomplish was a 16 year old male, who testified against him and has been out of prison for several years. they both plea bargained and were tried as Adults.
Mr. Bray was convicted upon his Plea of Guilty to Malicious Wounding, two counts of abduction, Carjacking, Use of Firearm in the Commission of Felony and two counts of Robbery and sentenced to terms totaling, 28 years and 7 months, on March 16, 2001.
Mr. Bray, still has 8 years to serve. I just finish reading his response to the question brought to him of: “What do you think men in my position need if they were to be released from prison, not just from us who are incarcerated but for the ones who are also re-entering back into society.’
Mr. Bray Titled his response: CHANGE THE MIND CHANGE THE MAN. My blueprint for a positive transition into society. It was a fantastic read. I’m going to try and get it published on his behalf.
We are not suggesting juveniles are not punish for their crimes, they are not adults. We haven’t finish raising them, and they are incapable of making adult decisions and should not be tried as adults.
America is the only country in the world that sentence their children to death.
GMW, I’m sure all of us can see thru the â€New Distraction from #45.” ( Each time the Mueller Investigation starts getting too much media attention, #45 comes up with a stupid un-thought-out decision to deflect attention). Except for the leaders of the House and Senate; Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.
They are entrusted with the responsibility of making sure, actions from the Oval Office does not destroy America’s values and principles; at home and abroad. They are not doing their jobs!!!! But GMW, we’ll continually pray for our country, while working to save it, and running for office in 2018..
Our children are killing themselves for lack of coping skills. Parents and schools are blaming each other. The bullying behavior starts at home and manifest itself at schools and Social Media. Parents we need to focus more on making sure, by the time they enter pre-k, they can look in the mirror and see their best friend. When our children know and like who they are, bullies don’t have a chance. Us, or our children have no control of how others behave. But, we can control how we respond.
A 13-year old girl took her own life, and her journal revealed she was the victim of severe bullying. On November 28th, 13-year-old Rosalie Avila hanged herself in her bedroom.
Because of bullying by her peers. She thought she was helpless and hopeless. To mothers of young children in general and girls in particular, we must show our children that we can protect them.
Now just imagine having grown men taking advantage of your teenage daughters, especially in Alabama. Â We have 2 candidates running for the office of State Senator. Â Roy Moore and Doug Jones. Women are being asked to vote for Roy Moore, who has been accused of Sexually Molesting or Assaulting young girl from age 14-17 while he was a grown man of 32. Â Â Moore is being supported by #45, who has Sexual Charges against him by over 15 grown women, plus allegations of raping a 13 year old girl.
The raping of the 13 year old girl can easily be read just by googling It. GMW we simply have to do a better job of protecting our children in general and our daughters in particular. By being better role models for them.
Grandmothers, mothers and Women in the state of Alabama, how are you going to explain to your young daughters, granddaughters, nieces, Â and young sisters who look up to you; why you voted for Roy Moore; Â was it your principles values or ethics?
Lawsuit accusing Donald Trump of raping 13-year-old girl gets December  2016 hearing.
NEW YORK DAILY NEWSÂ Wednesday, October 12, 2016, 3:15 PM. Â
She was promised a modeling Career by:Â Jeffrey Epstein ( known Pedophile)Â and Donald Trump. Â Â
A woman’s lawsuit alleging Donald Trump raped her when she was 13 will soon get a hearing before a judge — but not until after the presidential election.
Manhattan Federal Judge Ronnie Abrams has scheduled a hearing for December 16, 2016 after the election.
Grandmothers, Mothers and Women (GMW)Let’s give God the glory, for Good Triumphing over evil and giving us a very good reason for being proud of our country and actually seeing there are more good people in this country than appalling.
GMW going forward, we must reach out to our sisters, who compromised their morals and values for the means justify the end theory. Grandmothers, mothers and women Bipartisan Leadership is the top of our agenda going forward. But, those GOP Leaders who sold their souls, including Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan needs to be replaced. As heads of the house and senate, their leadership is null and void.
The GOP’s constant reminder to us, That the majority of American People made #45 President. Well let’s look at the numbers of the 2016 Presidential Election:
#45 got 304 electoral votes and Clinton got 227, #45 won the election by 77 votes. He did not win the popular vote which was: Clinton, (48.2) 65,844,954 for #45 (46.1%) 62,979,879 a difference of 2.9 million votes; according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Â In essence the Electoral College made him #45 with 304 votes.
Grandmothers, Â mothers and women (gmw) the rhetoric from the White house is beginning to look like a circus, with #45 as the clown. Â Our men in Washington has become so caught up in party conquest of who’s to blame for lack of leadership, until our issues no longer exist.
Ladies we can’t fix Washington as it is now, but we can change it in 2018. our power put them there; with the understanding they would represent all of us with integrity and not embarrassment; integrity has left and embarrassment has taken up residence.
What we can do in our homes and communities, is prepare to make major changes November 6, 2018. We need to control house and senate in order to Have checks and balances on #45.
The GOP who has the power and ability to curtail 45’s erratic behavior but they have opted to make excuses for him, they thought Obama was unfit to be president because he knew Reverend Right; you make the comparison!
GMW, each of us can make it our mission to make sure every seventeen (17) old turning 18 before November 6, 2018 is registered to vote, plus encourage other family members, friends and acquaintances to do the same.
Our focus will be on occupying the vote, educate, empower and employ our communities and cities. nothing builds self-esteem and confidence faster than the ability to provide and protect your family while helping provide a community that’s conducive to your family growth and development.
