“Assessing Our Presidential Candidates: A Focus on Values and Competence.”

Candidates for President:

Both candidates are elderly, but one lacks competence and Core Values.

What are Core Values you ask? “Core values are traits or qualities that are not just worthwhile, they represent an individual’s or an organization’s highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and core, fundamental driving forces. They are the heart of what your organization and its employees stand for in the world.”

Grandmothers, mothers, and women (GMW) we’re concerned about the capabilities of one candidate to handle the responsibilities of the Oval Office and global affairs. He exhibits desires for autocracy to mask his shortcomings. One man rule no questions asked!

  1. One is Married to 1 woman 47 years, and  another in his third marriage, has 5 court cases in 5 different courts, is currently in criminal court, for election fraud, with 34 charges, that he claims last lost of voter fraud, And, takes credit for reversing Roe V Wade.
  2. He can’t keep his hands to himself.
  3. Has miss-manage his business 6 times.
  4. He has no respect for women
  5. He wants to get rid of our democratic way of life, which will have a crucial impacts on the population of Americans under 50, who has more years in front of them, than behind them.

GMW of America, “how can we allow a candidate like this (in any political party) to occupy the highest office in the world? Our concern about the upcoming election in 2024, is urging Americans to vote based on their core values. It emphasizes the importance of safeguarding rights, such as the right to choose and the future of democratic governance, as well as considering the impact on future generations. He is a narcissistic misogynist.

GMW and America: “Have you looked at, and prayed over your core values lately? Let’s pray that each of us allow our core values to guide our vote November 5, 2024. This is our prayer in Jesus Name. Amen.

A Call to Action: Shaping the Future of Our Democracy

Tags: #Democracy, #VotingRights, #SocialJustice, #LGBTQRights, #GunControl, #Healthcare, #Election2024

Introduction:

In a time when our democratic values are under threat, and social justice issues dominate public discourse, it’s more important than ever to stand up, speak out, and shape the future of our country. The recent speech by President Biden not only offered a breath of fresh air but also reminded us of the work that lies ahead. As we look forward to November 2024, let’s rally around the causes that define the soul of American democracy.

Safeguarding Democracy:

The essence of American democracy is at stake. With efforts to undermine the right to vote and the integrity of our elections, the passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act has never been more critical. This act aims to restore and strengthen the provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, ensuring every American has unfettered access to the ballot box.

Women’s Rights at the Forefront:

The battle for women’s rights, particularly the right to choose, is another cornerstone of our

collective fight. Codifying Roe v. Wade into law is not just about preserving women’s health and autonomy; it’s about upholding our moral and democratic values.

LGBTQ+ Rights and the Fight for Equality:

In the face of attempts to roll back the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals, we must stand firm in our support for marriage equality and the broader spectrum of LGBTQ+ rights. The freedom to love and marry who we choose is a fundamental right that must be protected.

Criminal Justice Reform:

The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act represents a crucial step toward accountability and justice in law enforcement. By addressing practices like qualified immunity and promoting necessary reforms, we can begin to heal the wounds of systemic racism and ensure safety and fairness for all citizens.

Gun Control and Community Safety:

The epidemic of gun violence in our communities demands a comprehensive response. It’s time to implement sensible gun control measures that protect our children and our future while respecting the rights of responsible gun owners.

Conclusion:

As we approach the elections, we have a responsibility to advocate for these critical issues. Our vote is a powerful tool for change, a declaration of our values, and a step toward the future we envision for our country. Let’s make our voices heard and make America a beacon of democracy, justice, and equality once again.

Call to Action:

Register to vote, educate yourself on the issues, and support candidates and initiatives that align with our shared vision for a just and inclusive society. Together, we can shape a future that reflects the true soul of American democracy.

Well, Grandmothers mothers, and Women (GMW); The MAGA-GOP would like to give #45 another ride, even though he stole the car.

Well, Grandmothers mothers, and Women (GMW); The GOP gave #45 a ride in 2016, even though he took their car and put them out, Now, they are ready to give him a ride in a Jet-plane, paid for with what is supposed to be our Supreme Court.

Merrick Garland makes it clear the Biden regime intends to cheat in the 2024 election,” former Fox News producer Kyle Becker wrote in a post to X, formerly Twitter. “The Biden AG said election integrity measures like voter IDs & drop box bans are ‘discriminatory, burdensome & unnecessary.’ This is how cheaters talk. The fix is in.”

Leading with Integrity: Setting a Compassionate Example for Future Generations

As the sun rises on the 10th day of Lent, our hearts are heavy with reflection and determination. Today, we embark on a journey of fasting and prayer, not just for ourselves, but for the soul of our nation – for an America built on integrity and guided by principles that uplift humanity.

In the quiet moments of contemplation, it becomes abundantly clear that our actions speak louder than words, especially to the keen eyes of our children. From the corridors of power to the humble abodes, they are watching, absorbing, and emulating the behaviors they see in us.

Yet, are we truly exemplifying the values we wish to instill in them? Are we demonstrating honesty, compassion, and empathy in our daily lives? Or are we inadvertently teaching them that deceit, selfishness, and apathy are the norm?

The stark reality is that our children don’t feel safe because we, as adults, have failed to create a world where integrity reigns supreme. It’s not enough to preach morality; we must embody it in every facet of our existence.

As we embark on this period of fasting and prayer, let us not merely go through the motions, but let us allow our integrity to guide our every decision and action. Let us scrutinize whom we elevate to positions of leadership, demanding honesty, integrity, and accountability from those who govern on our behalf.

But the burden does not solely rest on the shoulders of our elected officials. As grandmothers, mothers, and women, we hold a unique power – the power of the vote. Let us wield it wisely, casting our ballots not out of fear or ignorance but out of conscience and conviction. For our vote is not just a mark on a ballot; it is a reflection of our values, our hopes, and our dreams for the future.

The political landscape we find ourselves in today is a testament to our collective choices, both past, and present. It is a reminder that complacency and division have consequences, consequences that our children will inherit long after we are gone.

Yet, amidst the chaos and uncertainty, there is hope. For we are reminded of the words of Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” But these plans require action, they require us to take that first step towards integrity, towards accountability, towards a better tomorrow.

So, as we journey through these 40 days of Lent, let us not only fast and pray but let us also commit to living lives of integrity and compassion. Let us hold ourselves and each other accountable, knowing that our children are watching, learning, and depending on us to pave the way for a brighter, more just future.

Gun Violence Major US Problem

Gun violence is a major problem in the United States today, with a notable disproportionate impact on racial and ethnic minorities.

We know the root causes of gun violence are: Lack of investment in communities of color,  systemic racial inequities, and weak gun laws; further complicated by unequal access to safe housing, adequate educational  and employment opportunities. Along with a history of disinvestment in public infrastructure and service in communities that has been historically under-resourced.

Addressing the gun problem, must begin with stronger commonsense gun laws. Plus, black and brown voters demanding a better return on their votes, ensuring Policymakers address systemic racial inequities.

According to an ABC News Report, Firearm deaths among Black men, at 28-year high, doctors are taking steps to reframe gun violence as one of America’s major health crisis. America Leaders, needs to come to the same conclusion, Gun Violence is a Health Crisis, as is opioids.

Passage of the following bills into law is a must:  George Floyd Justice Reform Act, John Lewis Voting Rights Act, passage of qualified immunity, and statehood for  DC. These laws must be implemented; while we’re busy figuring out how to collectively reap the benefits of our 1.8 trillion dollars purchase power

Grandmothers , Mothers and Women (GMW),Women of color are more likely than their white counterpart to be shot and killed with firearms. Murder Rate for U.S. Black Women Is 6 Times That of Whites.

Then we can work toward creating a more equitable society where all individuals have  the opportunity to thrive, regardless of race or background. The topic for my next blog.

Hakeem Jeffries: The House Majority Leader,  November 2024

America, I truly believe our country is going through a metamorphic,  and we are going to Metamorph into a united country and government. Jeremiah 29:11 is no joke. The Creator of the Universe Is in charge, with the final say.

Two days ago I blogged about two conditions, 1 year ago for Optimistic Black Purchasing Power and 4 years ago for teaches Crisis.  Each condition  is the same today, The amount of purchasing power has increase; but our ability to collectively handle it, is the same as it was a year ago. And the teachers crisis is the same.

I’m hopeful because I see so many young people stepping up taking responsibility and leadership roles. I’m still impressed with a City Council in St. Paul Minnesota, with all women, under 40; I’m very impressed with Jasmine Crockett from Texas. I feel encouraged with the collective efforts of Tiffany Crows, Angela Rye and Andrew Gilliam.

For all of the young people like them stepping up. It gives me hope and I just know in my heart,” that we are going to be all right.  But I do know each of us has to hold ourselves accountable for our participation, and being able to take action to implement the changes we want to see in our world. For all of us, it starts with voting this November.

There is no way in hell,”Donald Trump,” and his conservative GOP MAGAS should get anywhere near a seat of leadership again.

Young People It’s your future, I’m with the over 70 group, (when I say young) and you have my support.  2024 is the last election I’m ever going to vote for anyone over 75.

Here are some young women leaders in Hampton Roads, that I’m very proud of: Angela Williams-Graves, state Senate. Jackie Glass, HD. and Tiffany Buffalo, School Board. All of the young people mention is this blog, including those 2 young men in Memphis, Tennessee and others that I won’t mention here.

These young people are poised to take our country in the right direction. These young people will bring back, integrity, Principles, honesty, virtue, values, common sense, the Fruits of the spirit and Bipartisan Leadership.

AMERICA THERE’S HOPE: THRU GRACE, MERCY AND FAVOR
