Young voters needed it to fill spots as poll workers

States wants young workers to staff elections and keep our seniors safe.

Grandmothers, Mothers and Women(GMW) The COVID Pandemic has created another Problem: Most Poll workers are over 60 and must take extra precautions this year to protect themselves against the coronavirus

Election experts fear a massive shortage of workers at the polls in November.

Young people are asked to help America vote by becoming poll workers. The pay ranges from $175 to $110  for Election Day. All of my children and grands are signing up to work the polls.

Poll workers are critical to the success of an election. They are tasked with setting up and preparing the polling location, welcoming voters, verifying voters registration, and issuing ballots. Pool workers also help ensure voters understand the voting process by demonstrating how do use voting  equipment and explaining voting procedures.

It’s a great opportunity for out tech savvy  17 years olds to help America Vote.
