Grandmothers, mothers, and women (GMW), of Norfolk in particular and all Norfolkians in General. Our city and schools are on a slippery slope, and sliding downward continually.
The mayor: Kenneth Alexander and superintendent: Dr. Sharon Byrdsong, You have been elected and selected to direct the course of Norfolk, by the people of Norfolk and for the people of Norfolk. There’s no reason for Norfolk Schools to have a C+ grade. It’s incumbent upon each of us to make sure our children are better cared for.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — On Tuesday, Spence presented the division’s budget to city council members. He’s proposing an $833.5 million Virginia Beach school budget for the 2022/2023 school year.
Anxiety, uncertainty, and change is hitting students hard during the pandemic, and the Virginia Beach community is paying close attention.
The Virginia Beach School Division just launched a mental health task force to tackle longstanding mental health issues and problems that have formed throughout the pandemic.
Next two-year budget will include 10% pay raise for teachers, further expanding largest teacher raises in 15 years.

CHESAPEAKE: 2022-23 (A-)
Chesapeake School Budget-The budget includes a 10% increase in teacher pay, a 14% increase in support staff pay, and a 5% increase in administrative pay for the 2022-23 school year. The proposed budget changes also mean the teacher starting salary would be $51,500.

The Norfolk Public School Board approved a $376.7 operating budget for 2023 during Wednesday night’s meeting. The spending plan includes a provision for increasing teacher pay by 5.8%. Pay for classified employees will increase about 7.5% and administrators will increase about 7.5% and administrators will see a pay raise of 4.2%.II.

We have the Governor of Virginia, possibly in Black Face or a KKK hood. We have a POTUS hugging the KKK and a picture his parents with KKK emblems. We all have a past …Can we move forward and forgive-what is their character telling us about them today?
If we don’t come to terms with our past, none of us is going to be able to serve our country in any capacity, from the Oval Office to a Television Master of Ceremonies; even to serve in the military.
Grandmothers, mothers and women (gmw) of Virginia in particular and America in general , have you wondered if there’s outside collusion driving the turmoil in our Governor’s Office, over racist photos, or the chaos in Washington, Isn’t it strange how this confusion is taking place in our highest offices of leadership. Do you wonder what other countries are smiling, at the anarchy brewing in America, and what country could take credit for our dysfunction.
Has 2nd chances become just a word to be used with examples we approve of? The Ralph Northam, pediatrician I met and help get elected to the Senate, is not a racist, when he came to my church while on the campaign trail, he was recognized as a doctor who had touched the lives of so ‘many parents as their children’s pediatrician, who bought sunlight into their children lives, that day the man in the Racist Photo did not exist.
Democrats, GOP, Independence and Liberals, we need to re-evaluate our shot list of differences, and focus on the long list of things we have in common. We are allowing ourselves to be divided.
Gmw we must carry the banner; (The Race Banner) so our children and the world can see it, and know there is only one race; which is simply the HUMAN RACE.
Why Are Our Kids Killing Themselves?GMW: We’re so preoccupied with politics and what our out of control politicians are doing, until it appears we have lost track of what’s important. Right and wrong left a long time ago, it seems.
Our children must really feel lost. Their daily observation of us, as adults and all major media outlets showcasing our lack of morals, values, principals and of being able to determine right from wrong.
GMW we have set back for years, allowing our men to bring us and our children to this low point. The problems our children face must be solved by parents, schools, community and City Hall. Â Can you visualize how our children would feel, Â if they were enjoying just half of the attention that has been devoted to politics in past almost 365 days; they would have more reasons to live.
GMW I’m confident, we are about to come to the table and start righting some wrongs. This 10 year old girl killed herself November 30, and a 13 year old girl killed herself December 4, 2017. They got no National Attention, not news worthy, how sad we have become. But GMW, in Jesus name we’re going to fix it.
