It’s time we allow our Judicial System do their jobs, and let due Process deal with #45 and  his MAGA Theory.

GMW and LGBTQ, we have the power to stand-up for our Rights to Choose: A Fundamental Liberty. The Powerful Tools we have are: Our Vote, Our Dollars, Our God and Our Love. Our Vote should speak for us 11/8/2022. let’s make America Blue.

We need a Congress that will work together, to codify Roe v Wade. And a Senate that’s ready to pass the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act. It passed the House 3/3/2021.  
It limits qualified immunity. Law enforcement need to be held Accountable for the senseless killing of black men and women. There are too many guns in the hands of American; For no knock policy to Exist any longer.

Also, in our communities where gun violence is out of control, we must take more responsibility for the fact that our children can obtain a weapon faster than they can find fresh fruits and vegetables. These are our sons and daughters, if, we don’t save and protect them, who will!

Next we want the John Lewis Voting Rights Act passed into law. It passed the House 8/24/2021, with 223 votes and died in  the Senate with 48.  The bill establishes new criteria for determining which states and Political subdivisions must obtain preclearance before changes to voting practices may take effect.

Washington should also be given Statehood, taxation without representation should be Unconstitutional and it’s definitely not Democratic for the residents of Washington. I the Washington, DC Admission Act. If passed by the Senate and signed into law by the president, it would give voters in our nation’s capital the ability to participate fully in our democracy by admitting “Washington, Douglass Commonwealth,†as the 51st state.

There is no way the GOP should win a majority in any seats in the up-coming Midterm election-this November 8th. The only way that can happen ladies is, If we allowed it.

To all of our sisters, who woke up after you voted to make Trump, President, then realize you make a mistake. Well this is what that mistake looks like. A minority of Conservative white men,telling the majority, what they can do with their bodies and their human-rights.

Ladies we have the power to determine who has a Majority in Congress, Governors Office, and our  District Attorneys. DA must be be high-lighted because, abortions  has been criminalized and It’s imperative, we must put people in those seats who will support and protect our constitutional and human rights.

We need all hands on deck, making sure young people are very aware, their future is in the hand of old conservative white men. 

There are 3 three past Democratic President alive, Barack and Clinton are healthy, very Charismatic and articulate. President Carter is present but his health and age will give him pause. 

Our Democratic’s Leaders need to put together messaging, that sends home the Jim Crow direction the GOP is now paused to take this country.

The theory of GOP’s  winning midterm when a Democratic is in the Oval Office, does not apply this time. The GOP has been following Trump’s promise of making America great again. 

They are banning books, the right to vote, reverse Roe-wade, advocating CRT, and so many other human rights.

Young People you are, our greatest voting block right now, and it’s your future. In this upcoming midterm election, you must vote like your life depends on it, because it does. You must determine your future, not people 65 and older.

It time our president give Vice President Harris free reign to travel across country bring the message of what the GOP has done and is doing, and what we must do. He should also call on all past Democratic President to bring the same messaging’s to make the mid-terms belong to the Democrats, by any means necessary. Donald Trump never went to the place past presidents usually go, quietly in the background.

Democrats The GOP got rid of Roe Wade, You need to get rid of the Filibuster now. Please get some backbone democrats, and cater to your base. Barack Obama knows how to bring to our base and win.

GMW, I’m very angry. And I’m hoping our men are just as angry. Because, we don’t get pregnant by ourself, and child-support is going to be your part of these new laws.

We Forgave And Receive The Power Of FORGIVNESS…Sometimes we tend to think of Forgivness as an action related to submission or meekness. Forgivness, however, is really a demonstration of strength and power. We call upon our courage to reach out and forgive someone who may have hurt us in someway, or even to forgive ourselves for some past mistake or happening.

It may not be easy to forgive, but as we do so, we draw upon our inner resources and in the process, renew and strengthen our own lives. The ability to forgive is a dynamic trait that determines our unlimited power.

Forgiveness begets forgiveness, For forgiveness begins and ever-widening circles of good. Those whom we forgive are strengthen and released; Likewise we are strengthened and released. As we forgive, we receive the power of forgiveness.

Know Your Candidate, Knowledge Is Power

For all GMW (Grandmothers, Mothers, Women) in particular and America in general. No Sane Adult, can ever repeat the phrase again, “ My Vote Doesn’t Count.†The Voting in 2020 Election was pivotal in demonstrating the power of your vote.  You must decide which Majority Party you want in Congress. What type of leaders agendas will they support: presidents, judges, governors, mayors, City Councils, police chiefs, or school board members. You decide with your vote, which will have a major impact on your life and community.

An educated voter is a powerful Voter. Well! America the 2022 MIDTERM are twice as PIVOTAL. Each of us (registered voters) gets to decide: What type of leadership we want. Dr Kurt Lewis, father of Social Psychology, identify three types of leaders: laissez-faire, authoritarian and democratic.

Laissez-faire leadership…

Laissez-faire leadership allows group members total freedom. Laissez-faire leaders do not participate in the decision-making process, and rarely offer opinions. This style can work well if the group is highly motivated and competent. However, laissez-faire leadership has many drawbacks. Without the leader’s input, the group can sink into conflict as members jockey over roles and responsibilities. In Lewin’s study, the children under laissez-faire leadership were the least productive and the most argumentative. 

James Buchanan’s presidency offers a historical example of the weaknesses of laissez-faire leadership. As slavery threatened to tear America apart, the nation needed leadership from the White House. James Buchanan failed to offer it.

Authoritarian leadership…

Authoritarian leadership means that the leader has full power. Authoritarian leaders tell groups what to do and expect group members to execute.  This style may work well, allowing the leader to make a quick decision and providing the group with direct instructions. An authoritarian leader who presents a clear vision can motivate a divided group. However, authoritarian leaders are more likely to disregard the good ideas of others. The style can also inspire resentment and stress. In Lewin’s study, the children under authoritarian leadership were productive but not very creative. 

President Lyndon Johnson provides an example of effective authoritarian leadership. In Congress, Johnson was known for his aggressive style and his remarkable ability to get legislation passed. When one senator quipped, “Rome wasn’t built in a day, another responded, “Lyndon Johnson wasn’t the foreman on that job.†As President, Johnson sought aimed to remake American society. His sweeping vision included civil rights, voting rights, and Medicare. To achieve his goals, Johnson would cajole, threaten, charm, and browbeatopponents into submission. Johnson’s sheer force of will drove his landmark bills through Congress.

The Kim family of North Korea is an extreme case of authoritarian leadership. In North Korea, senior advisers are terrified of Kim-Jong Un with good reason. Instead of honest advice, these men offer useless flattery instead. Unchecked, an authoritarian leader can prove disastrous.

Democratic leadership…

Democratic leadership balances decision-making responsibility between the group and the leader. Democratic leaders actively participate in discussions, but also make sure to listen to the views of others. This style often leads to positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environments. Furthermore, a good democratic leader can bring out the group’s creativity. Under this style, the leader still retains final responsibility for the group’s decision. In Lewin’s study, the children under democratic leadership made the highest quality contributions.

General Dwight Eisenhower and Nelson Mandela are examples of successful democratic leaders. During WWII, Ike was appointed Supreme Allied Commander. While that title might seem to imply unlimited authority, he worked extremely hard to hold together a diverse coalition.  He preferred discussing issues with his staff rather than simply barking orders. Never afraid to take blame, he once said, “leadership consists of nothing but taking responsibility for everything that goes wrong and giving your subordinates credit for everything that goes well.â€

Mandela displayed a democratic leadership style as a leader of the African National Congress (ANC) he believed that people of all colors and political affiliations could contribute to the good of all. When he became president, Mandela could have sought revenge on his former oppressors. Instead, in an exceptional act of forgiveness and reconciliation, he included them in his government. His decision greatly accelerated the national healing process in South Africa.

The violence in our beautiful city has to be seriously address and dealt with by each of us, doing our part as, “NORFOLKIANS:

The CIty Council, The Board of Edu. The Chief of Police, and The Rest of us, Norfolkians. We are Norfolk. We are not going to solve Norfolk’s problems, by disenfranchising one group for the benefit of another.

The past two years has been tough for all of us, we’ve faced 1 challenge after another; but we are still standing. Excuses does not solve problems. We all have problems, some took us to our knees, while on our knees, we prayed back to our feet. 7

Us, Adults has to start,â€LEADING BY EXAMPLES. Our Children learn from what they see, Not what they hear. If We Want Them To Listen To US:

WITH A-TEENS-SUMMIT-FORUM: MAY 21, 2022 @ The KROC CENTER, Located at Ballentine and Princess ANNE 2:00pm – 4:30pm. 

We’re providing a platform for our YOUTH to express their Grievances. We’re having a 12 Member-Youth-Panel, ranging in Ages from 10-17, addressing their question to a  panel of community and city Leaders.  We will also make it possible for youth in the audience to have their questions addressed.

We need a few more youth to complete to the panel. If you’re a youth with something to get off your chest, in a constructive way. Come to our Coalition Meeting Tomorrow, 6:pm at the KROC Center.

The Summit Is Coordinate by: Mr. Bilal Muhammed-leader of STOP THE VIOLENCE (STVT), To  all community Leaders,  Businesses-Entrepreneurs, consulor’s, educators,and all who’s ready to be, “ALL IN,“ for Our Beloved City of Norfolk; There’s a spot for you on the Coalition with your name on It.

We have the Governor of Virginia,  possibly in Black Face or a KKK hood. We have a POTUS  hugging  the KKK and a picture his parents with KKK emblems. We all have a past …Can we move forward and forgive-what is their character tellingA group of people in white hoods and suits us about them today?

If we don’t come to terms with our past, none of us is going to be able to serve  our country in any capacity, from the  Oval Office to a Television Master of Ceremonies; even to serve in the military.

Grandmothers, mothers and women (gmw) of Virginia in particular and America in general , have you wondered if there’s outside collusion driving the turmoil in our Governor’s Office, over racist photos, or the chaos in Washington, Isn’t it strange how this confusion  is taking place in our highest offices of leadership. Do you wonder what other countries are smiling, at the anarchy brewing in America, and what country could take credit for our dysfunction.

The Ralph Northam, pediatrician I met and help get elected to the Senate, is not a racist,  when he came to my church while on the campaign trail, he was  recognized  as a doctor who had touched the lives of so ‘many parents as their children’s pediatrician, who bought sunlight into their children  lives, that day the man in the  Racist Photo did not exist.A group of people with their hands together.

Democrats, GOP, Independence and Liberals,  we need to re-evaluate  our shot list of differences, and focus on the long list of things we have in common.  We are allowing ourselves to be divided.Image result for american flag
