The 2022 Gubernatorial Race: Alabama and Iowa

Grandmothers, Mothers and Women (GMW), In Iowa and Alabama, lets get registered to vote, and be ready to let your vote speak for you, November 8th.

There are 36 Gubernatorial seats up for midterm election. We need to come out of the midterm elections with 25 or more  blue Governors Seats, and 25 or more of the 36 Senate Seats. So, we can finally get a Senate that functions, and get some work done. GMW, we are voting for the rights of our daughters the future of democracy, and the constitutional right to the pursuit liberty and justice for all.

Republicans are defending 20 gubernatorial, and Democrats are defending 16 seats. However, Some prognosticators feels this will be a better cycle for GOP: The political winds are at their backs. But GMW we have the votes.

(R) Kay Ives,

Ladies we turn Va. blue 2016. Ga., blue in 2020, and put Biden in the Oval Office.

Alabama: Now let’s focus on the governor’s races; starting with Alabama Republican  incumbent: Kay Ives, has been advocating  for the abolishment of Roe versus Wade and all the rights it protected.

(D) Yolanda Flowers

Her challenger Yolanda Flowers is an advocate of a woman’s right to choose and expansion of the Affordable Care Act. GMW of Alabama please get to know what your candidate’s platform is, and which one, believes we have the right to decides what happens with our Bodies, not the government.

Republican  incumbent: Kim Reynolds’s said,â€Now is the time for us to stand up and continue the fight to protect the unborn. “The Supreme Court’s historic decision reaffirms that states have the right to protect the innocent and defenseless unborn—and now it’s time for our state to do just that. As governor, I will do whatever it takes to defend the most important freedom there is: the right to life.â€

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Deidre DeJear says her Republican opponent’s legal push to revive a six week abortion ban shows Governor Reynolds is determined to stand against the will of the vast majority of Iowa

We need our Democratic Leaders to get a messaging, message where all are on the same page, and catering to their base. Your messaging will motivate us to donate. We are all sick and tired of e-mails asking for donations, with no defined platform we can respect and support. Galvanize us.

Put the GOP on blast, for some of the sneaky  despicable things they have done. Like the overturn of Roe V Wade,  and the revelations by Republicans testimonies, before the January 6 committee.  Clarence Thomas has the audacity to want to reverse LGBTQ marriages, but makes no makes no mention of, â€Virginia love,†because his wife is white, again I say, “people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.â€
